Rachel + Josh | Chattanooga Maternity Photographer

A long, long time ago I had Rachel meet me at the beautiful Black Fox Farms in Cleveland to capture her cute, round belly and gorgeous mom-to-be glow. Oh, ok….it wasn’t that long ago, but I have taken too long finishing these photos up. So long, in fact, that their little girl who was snug as a bug in the womb, is now going on 2 weeks old. However, I have been forgiven, so all is well in the world.

Rachel and Josh are awesome folks. Which makes me glad that Rachel happens to be Dave’s cousin, that way I get to see her and Josh around the holidays and other random occasions. I was happy to hear that these two were expecting a little baby, as I have watched them be a super fun aunt and uncle duo. This past weekend I got to meet their little girl, Maggie; and as I expected she’s beyond beautiful. And in just a few short days, I’ll get to photograph the newness and beauty of little Maggie.

So for now, I’ll leave you with these old photos. ;)

Shannan + Jeremy | Chattanooga maternity photography

Oh, how I adore these two! I was so excited to find out that my dear friend, Shannan, was expecting a baby, and I’m getting so anxious to meet little Cohen when he makes his arrival.

Shannan and I go way back, like to when I was in Ms. Bayless’s second grade class and Shannan was my reading mentor, or something like that. I still even joke that she taught me to read. She has always been one of the sweetest people I’ve known, and she’s beautiful both inside and out. I’m excited to see her as Cohen’s mom. Jeremy is pretty great too, and I know he’s excited to have a little guy to watch Kentucky games with him.

Doing their maternity session in their home was perfect, as Shannan is an excellent decorator. She has put so much care and detail into Cohen’s nursery already; all it needs is a perfect little baby boy.

Writing this post has made me even more antsy to meet Cohen. Jeremy and Shannan, thank you for allowing me to photograph this very special time in your lives. You guys are awesome!

I was thrilled when Carli contacted me about doing her maternity session. We know each other from our middle school days, and it was nice to get to reconnect with her after all these years. It’s so exciting that she and her husband will be parents to a baby girl in just a couple of weeks!

Jodi + Darald | Chattanooga maternity photography

This session was so much fun, and I was blessed to be able to document this special time for Jodi and Darald. Jodi had given me a rundown of how the nursery was decorated beforehand, but I was still blown away by all the details that make this little girl’s room very special. I have a feeling that Lillie will be a perfect fit in her beautiful room. I know that Jodi, Darald, and even Jaci, their precious pup, are quite excited to meet their new little girl.

Jodi’s mom saved this dress of Jodi’s to pass onto her daughter one day, and that day is almost here!
